Drying home-grown rice. Making lemper ubi (with cassava and coconut). The stem
         
of the water lilly bunga telipuk tastes like beans. Pineapple (nenas) is grown in vegetable en herbs gardens near houses.
         
Squirrel, caught with blowpipe or catapult, has meat with a strong taste; a delicacy!
Welding a serampang (3-toothed harpoon), to be used to catch fish. 
The most famous fish of the lake is ikan toman, but other fish is caught too.
         
Gathering rebung (young bamboo shoots).
Both fruit and bark of the kulim tree (Scorodocarpus Borneesis) are used as "jungle-garlic" in, for instance, the catfish dish ikan keli panggang; delicious!
